Church Planting Workshop & Roundtable

This June members of our diocese can take advantage of two opportunities to learn about church planting from experts in the field. The first opportunity will be when The Rev. William Beasley shares at a workshop to be held St. Stephen’s Church, Sewickley, on June 14, 7-9 p.m. Inspired by the Nigerian church multiplication model, Beasley has gained vast experience identifying and training lay leaders to start new congregations in the Chicago area. “When William Beasley offered to spend time with our diocesan leaders, I quickly accepted his invitation,” notes Jenni Bartling, diocesan congregation developer for church multiplication. “William has empowered a number of lay leaders to start new churches, and we can certainly benefit from his teaching. He is an energetic and inspiring presenter.” There is no fee for the event, which is open to all diocesan clergy, lay leaders, and parishioners. You can learn more and pre-register by emailing Jennifer Bartling at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

The second opportunity will be a church planting round table at Trinity School for Ministry, scheduled for June 17–19. Presenters include The Most Rev. Robert Duncan, The Rev. Cn. David Roseberry, The Rev. Tom Herrick, The Rev. William Beasley, The Rev. Dr. Tory Baucum, The Rev. Mike Wurschmidt, Mrs. Jenni Bartling, The Rev. Ron McCrary, and The Rt. Rev.
