Diocesan Convention 2009

The 2010 Proposed Budget, Clergy Compensation Guide, Amendments to Constitution and Canons and Tithing Resolution are available in anticipation of the Pre-Convention Hearings on Sept. 22 (St. Martin's, Monroeville) and Oct. 7 (St. Stephen's, Sewickley), both at 7 p.m.
The 144th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh will be held Nov. 6 and 7 at St. Stephen's Church in Sewickley.

The Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh is governed by its annual convention. The convention, which generally meets each November, sets the budget for the Diocese, elects offficers, and hears other matters of business. Each year, a pre and post convention journal is published containing information on the agenda and actions of the convention. Every parish in the diocese is represented at the convention. Each parish sends both clergy and lay delegates to the convention.
