More than 120 people inaugurated the use of the Common Life Property at Donegal Lake.

More than 120 people enjoyed a morning and afternoon at the diocese's Common Life Property at Donegal Lake.  The nearly completed barn, built into the hillside at the end of the driveway constructed last summer, is the first permanent structure on the 162-acre site in the Laurel Highlands of Westmoreland County.

The Revs. Paul Cooper and Ethan Magness came with picnic gear in hand.

Organized by the Family Life Movement of the diocese's Episcopal Church Women, the picnic was set up in the lower floor of the barn.

Members of the diocese gathered around Bishop Duncan to pray for him at the close of discussions regarding the national Episcopal Church's General Convention.
