Short Description

Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge PA, is seeking to hire a Bookstore Administrator.  20-25 hrs/wk M - F with an occasional evening or weekend.  Excellent customer service and retail experience a must.  Essential Duties include:  opening/closing Bookstore at designated times; process orders in person, online and over the phone; ship orders promptly; purchase inventory; reconcile sales and produce bank deposits daily; order textbooks based on syllabi; ticket, arrange, and display merchandise to attract sales; manage sales accounts; submit invoices for payment; perform month end reconciliations; perform year-end inventory count; assist with preparing the annual budget and marketing plan.  Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities required:  knowledge of church history, theology, and Christian writings/authors; knowledge of academic environment; strong communication, problem solving, and creative marketing skills; self-motivated and ability to work independently; strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to learn POS; ability to maintain accurate records; knowledge of inventory control.  Experience/Education:  Satisfactory combination of experience (bookstore preferred) and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the above duties.
