Theme: The Holy Spirit’s Movement In Spiritual Direction

Though most spiritual directors believe the Holy Spirit is at work in the direction process, the “how” varies greatly, and raises many questions. What does the Spirit’s “in the moment” guidance look like and feel like for the director? For the directee? How do the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate in a spiritual direction conversation? How do the different models of spiritual direction understand the Spirit’s guidance in a direction relationship? This workshop is designed for practitioners—those who already have some experience with spiritual direction—to explore these questions in a collaborative environment, with the goal in mind of drawing us closer to the Lord and strengthening our ability to serve our directees.

Outline of the Day
